Privacy Policy

01Overview

MailMorris is a private email utility for authorized users. It is not a public email provider, advertising service, marketing platform, data broker, analytics product, or service for sale.

MailMorris is intended to process only the information reasonably needed to provide the mail feature requested by the authorized user, maintain the app, protect accounts, and support the user.

02Information we process

Depending on the feature you use and the permissions you approve, MailMorris may process the following categories of information.

Google Account information

• Google Account email address, name, profile identifier, and authorization status.
• OAuth access tokens, refresh tokens, or authorization records needed to connect to your Google Account. MailMorris does not receive your Google password.

Mail and mailbox information

• Gmail message data and mailbox metadata when you authorize a Gmail-related feature.
• External mailbox connection details, such as IMAP server information, when you provide or authorize an external mailbox for a mail feature.
• Email message content, headers, attachments, sender and recipient information, timestamps, folder labels, and other mailbox metadata needed to complete the requested mail operation.

Operational information

• Operational logs, diagnostics, transfer status, timestamps, error details, browser or device metadata, and security events needed to run, troubleshoot, and protect the app.

03How we use information

MailMorris uses information only to provide, maintain, secure, and support the mail features requested by the authorized user. This includes authenticating users, connecting authorized accounts, performing requested mail operations, preventing duplicate work, troubleshooting errors, responding to support requests, protecting against abuse, and complying with applicable law.

MailMorris does not use personal information or mailbox data for advertising, marketing lists, behavioral profiling, sale to third parties, creditworthiness decisions, or generalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning model training.

04Google API data and Limited Use

MailMorris requests only the Google API scopes needed for the features in use. The specific scopes shown on the Google consent screen at sign-in are the complete list of what the app is asking to access. If scopes materially change, the policy will be updated and any required additional consent will be requested.

• MailMorris does not sell Google user data.
• MailMorris does not use Google user data to serve advertisements.
• MailMorris does not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalized AI or machine-learning models.
• Humans do not read mailbox contents unless the user gives explicit permission for support, access is necessary for security or abuse investigation, or access is required by law.

05Sharing and disclosure

MailMorris does not sell personal information or mailbox data. Information may be shared only in limited circumstances:

• With Google and relevant mail providers as needed to provide the account connection or mail operation requested by the user.
• With infrastructure or security service providers that help operate the app, subject to appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.
• With the administrator or support contact responsible for helping the authorized user, but only to the extent needed to operate or support the app.
• When required to comply with law, legal process, security obligations, or to protect users and the app.
• With the user's consent or at the user's direction.

06Storage and retention

MailMorris is intended to perform requested mail operations, not to create a separate permanent archive of a mailbox. Mailbox content is kept only as long as reasonably needed to complete the requested operation, retry failures, verify completion, or resolve a support issue. Temporary copies, queues, and transfer artifacts are deleted when no longer needed for those purposes.

Limited operational logs, transfer records, security records, and account authorization records may be retained for a reasonable period to maintain the app, prevent duplicates, document user choices, troubleshoot issues, and protect against abuse. OAuth tokens are revoked or deleted when they are no longer needed or when the user asks MailMorris to disconnect the app, subject to legal, security, troubleshooting, and operational limits.

07Security

MailMorris uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information in transit and at rest. These safeguards may include encrypted transport, restricted administrative access, credential protection, encrypted token storage, logging, and least-privilege access controls.

No system is perfectly secure. If MailMorris learns of a security issue that affects user information, appropriate steps will be taken to investigate, contain the issue, and notify affected users when required.

08Your choices

• You can choose not to authorize Google access or other mailbox access. The affected feature will not run without the required permissions.
• You can revoke Google access through your Google Account permissions.
• You can ask the administrator or support contact to disconnect the app, delete transfer records, or remove stored authorization data, subject to legal, security, and operational limits.
• You can keep independent backups of important mail before starting any transfer or mail-management operation.

09Data deletion requests

To request deletion of stored authorization records, transfer records, or other app-held data, contact the administrator who invited you to use MailMorris or the support email displayed on the Google OAuth consent screen. MailMorris will delete or de-identify data that is no longer needed, unless retention is required for security, legal, troubleshooting, or operational reasons.

10Children

MailMorris is intended for authorized users and is not directed to the general public or to children under 13. If a parent or guardian authorizes use for a minor, the parent or guardian is responsible for supervising that use and the connected accounts.

11Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated when the app, data practices, or legal requirements change. If material changes are made to how Google user data or mailbox data is used, this page will be updated and any additional consent required will be obtained before using data in the new way.
